The site is owned by Hjo municipality and is zoned for industry. Siten is located in Hjo's largest industrial area, without residential areas nearby. Siten is close to road 195, which provides easy access to Sweden's road network. Right now, plans are being made for another 11 hectares of industrial and business land in the area, parts of which will have signage facing road 195.
Hjo is an ancient little wooden town on the western shore of Lake Vättern. The town's old wooden villas are being filled with new families with children, dream houses are being built in the new villa areas, and long-awaited apartment buildings and rental apartments are being planned on the banks of Lake Vättern. The town has preserved its wooden buildings and is one of Sweden's three ancient "wooden towns". To the north, south and west, Hjo is surrounded by an exuberant and vibrant countryside. The smaller communities of Grevbäck, Gate, Korsberga and Blikstorp have exciting businesses and beautiful living environments. The green industry is strong in the municipality and the well-kept farms leave their mark on the landscape.
